Ingredients
- 3-4 pounds bones Make sure that the bones come from a healthy source
- 2 large Onion diced or halved if you want larger chunks
- 4 organic Carrots chopped
- 4 stalks celery
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 bunch Fresh Parsley finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic grated or pressed
- Sea Salt to taste
- 4 quarts water

- Can cook in either a large pot or a crockpot. Place the bones in the pot and add apple cider vinegar and water. Let the mixture sit for 1 hour. This allows the vinegar to leach the nutrients and minerals from the bones. Can add more water if needed to cover the bones
- Add the onion, celery, carrots, and garlic. Bring to a boil. Skim the scum off the top and discard.
- Reduce to a low simmer, cover, and cook. Minimum cook time is 8 hours. Optimal is between 24-72 hours. Can turn off at night and turn back on in the morning.
- Add in the parsley and sea salt at the end to taste. Can add other seasonings if you wish
- Let the broth cool and then can strain it to remove bones and bone marrow.
- The broth can store for up to 7 days in the fridge and 6 months in the freezer. Can add this as a base to other soups and stews.
